    This place is called Baile Dubh after an old pagan chief who lived there long ago.
    When the old Catholic church was being built at Cloghane there were Monks going around gathering money for to build it and one day they came to Crom Dub and asked him to give them something to build it.
    Crom Dub said that they could carry the bull that was outside in the field. Crom Dub thought that the bull would kill them.
    They went out and took the bull with them and when Crom Dub saw them he got angry and he went away to Cloghane after them.
    When he reached Cloghane he told them to give him the bull
