13-9-'38
Out at the back of the mountain near the Tullyvilla lakes there is a lake known as "Loch Éamuinn" or "Edward's Lake." Every three months it gets salty and then all the fish come to the top and die. The seagulls eat them then. There is a big island out in the middle. It is said that every night great crying is heard on it. Some say that it is the crying of water-dogs. But many others believe that it is the weeping of ghosts.- Collector
