Ar an leathanach seo

  1. A fox saw a man travelling on the road with a horse. On the horse's back there were two creels well filled with fresh herring.
    The fox smelled the fish and thought of a plan to get some. This was not easy, as the man had a heavy stick in his hand. What the fox did was to jump in across the fence and run very fast to get well ahead.
    He then jumped out on to the road again, and lay down pretending to be dead.
    When the man came up he saw the dead fox and he said :
    "You are done for, my boy. I'll take the skin off you and sell it."
    He threw the fox across the horse's back behind the creels, and started off again on his journey, leading the horse.
    The fox saw that the man could not see him from where he was, so he started taking
