- Story
This is a story told to me by my father who heard it from his mother. One day some fishermen were fishing somewhere off the West coast of Ireland. Suddenly the sea began to rush back and they were left on the sand.
When they looked around they saw a lovely city before them and also a woman sitting on a chair knitting quite close to the boat.
Suddenly the woman threw the ball of yarn she was knitting with into the boat. The men were afraid that she was trying to cast some spell on them, and one of them threw it back. For three times she threw it into the boat but it was thrown back.
