    Another field is called the "Monument Field" as the Monument which is erected over one of the Earls of Lixnaw is built in it.
    A field in Jack McAuliffe's land is called the "Fort Field" as there is a fort in it.
    A field of Tom Behan's is called the "Slang" as it it a long narrow field surrounded by good land.
    A field in Mick Dowling's farm is called the "Crag" as it is a rocky field.

    "Pairc na Crochadh" got its name from the cruelty of an English Lady who came on a visit to the Earl of Lixnaw. One day
