- The wool is taken from the sheep by a process of shearing. It is then washed and dried. It is then combed and mixed with wool oil. It is then carded and made into rolls and spun with a wollen wheel. It is then taken to the weaver and made into cloth, which is flannel and frieze. The lated was used in making overcoats and the former for making underclothes and báneens.
