In my locality superstitions are beginning to be ignored altogether. To my mind people are getting too advanced to believe in those superstitions at all, in this space I will mention a few of them.
It is supposed to be unlucky to go on along journey on Monday or whenyou are beginning your journey to meet a women first on the road some people were so superstitious that if they met a women first they would turn back and put back the journey until the next day.
It is also a belief that you should not wear any new article of clothing going to a wake or funeral, or to go into a house returning from the latter.
Another superstition is supposing a person wished his neighbour ill luck a popular idea of his would be to hide
