- About htirty years ago there lived in Rathoran a woman named Mrs. O'Connor and she was a widow.
Her horse dies and the work-man buried him.
It is said that when a horse dies you should not skin him.
So he was buried without doing so.
In the middle of the night when the woman and her two daughters were in bed they saw the horse out-side the window and he half-skinned.
They got up and went to the place where the horse was buried and there they saw a man named John Walsh who lived next door and he was skinning him.
The horse appeared in the same form outside the window as he was there.- Bailitheoir
