Bread
In olden times the people had different quality of bread to that which we have at the present day. They used to make bread out of the corn. They had no mills but they used to grind the corn with two round stones called querns. They used to make oaten bread, and wheaten bread. They used to make potato cakes and stamps too. They used to grind the potatoes with a tin plate which had holes in it. Some of the people used to bake for a week and other people used to bake it every day.
