    In this district the old people remember two hedge schools one in Fermulagh South of us and the other in Druminbawn West of us. Each about 2 miles away. They were in-door one in old house the other in a barn.
    The teacher of one of them was a master Jackson who came as a traveller, called about here (a journey man). Being able to read and write they employed him in this backward district
