- It is a sign of rain to see the stares gathering to gether, the cranes going from the lake to the bog or the curlews whistling.
If the smoke of a house runs on the ground there will come rain.
If the sun departs pale or yellow there will be storm and if it goes down red there will be good weather.
At night if there is a circle around the moon storm is coming and the larger the circle the nearer the storm.
