- Corn: Melt pieces of candle, melt it and pour parafin over it and put it on the corn. J. Maxwell
- Get a leaf of slánlus and boil it in a cup of water mix with butter and place it on cut.
- To Draw Boils: Roast Slánlus leaf and apply- one side (the smooth) draws, the other side heals.
