  1. When St. Patrick was coming through Fenagh to baptise the people around this district he came to Edintenny. There he saw a large number of pagans worshipping the pagan gods. There were twelve big statues made of gold with one in the middle of them. St. Patrick knew what this meant. He lifted his staff and waved it. All the statues fell into the ground.
    They are still there, but they are not made of gold. They all turned into sone.
    It is said that anyone that visits them something bad will happen him that day.
