  1. The way the leather is tanned is.
    When the beast is killed, the hide is taken off. It is sent to the tan yard. It is then soaked in water and lime and left there for two weeks. The lime is washed from the skin and leaves the hair easily got off.
    It is then sent to the tanning machine and the machine changes it from the hide of an animal to a piece of leather. The leather is then sent to the shops and sold to customers. Sometimes if the shopkeeper is a shoe-maker he makes boots out of the leather.

  2. The ploughs were made out of wood long ago. They were similar to the ploughs made now. The handles are made now out of iron. The parts of the plough are the sock, the mould-board, the wrack, the wheels, the wheel cutter, the coulter, the beam, the handles.
