Ar an leathanach seo
- We have a churn at home. Its height is four and a half feet. It is about two feet wide. It is an old churn. The sides of it are round. There are six things in it. The lid, dash, staves, hoops, peck and bottom. The coopers name is on the bottom of it.The women usually do the work at the churn. It you go into a house when y the people of the house when churning, they would not let you go out without taking a dash.Butter is made once in week in Winter and twice a week in Summer. Some people send their milk to the Creamery and get money for it.
