    The first Sunday in Lent is called "Puss Sunday." The youths line up outside the church-gate and call out "Puss" at the maids and bachelors as they pass by. This vexes them but creates amusement for the youths.
    It is considered unlucky by the catholics to marry in the month of May. It is also considered unlucky to marry on Thursday's, Friday's
