Nitre and pepper were used put into the tooth for curing a toothache.
- Warts
There is a spring well in Liscarbon known as Saint Patrick's. The person who has warts visits the will three times and leaves his hand in the water and prays while doing so. This cure is said never to fail.
Itch
John Barthy of Kilclare makes the cure of itch. It is like ointment. He also makes a cure for animals feet. - Cold
Oatmeal gruel, boiled garlic and butter milk.
