- One can see if passing along by Streamstown two rocks, standing, about five feet high and two tons in weight. Tradition tells us that they were used in fight by two giants who lived there once. There are about a quarter of a mile apart and it is said that the giants were that distance apart when they fired the rocks.
One of the giants was sowing oats in his field one day and the other seeing him at a distance said "That it may never come up' and the giant that was sowing the oats shouted "That you may never come up now".
