Ar an leathanach seo
- If there are red streaks in the sky it indicates a storm.
If there is a halo round the sun it shows rain.
From the north and east we generally get frost and snow.
The west wind brings the most rain to this district.
The rainbow is another sign of rain, more especially when you see two rainbows together in the evening.
When the swallows fly close to the ground it shows that there is bad weather approaching. Also, to see a flock of wild geese means bad and cold weather.
Another sign of bad weather is: the smoke coming down the chimney. When a blue light is seen in the fire it is a sign of rain.
