    Long ago there were two farming women living in a townland. One day one of the women went out to make the barrel of butter in the dairy which was going at that time. She started at making the barrel at four o'clock in the morning and had not it done for ten o'clock. At that time a tailor was going from house to house looking for shelter. The people that used to keep him used charge him nothing for his lodgings but he used to make and mend the clothes for them. At that that time he was staying at the house of the woman that was making the barrel. The tailor got up at eight o'clock and had his breakfast first and then started to make clothes. Then the woman of the house came in out of the dairy and said to him that if any woman came in for a coal of fire not to give it to her. The tailor continued with his work and soon in came a woman for a coal to light the fire. The tailor said nothing only went on with his work and the woman took the coal with her. When the woman went out the man went to the fire as well and took a coal and put it into the butter peck. The woman came twice after that and took a coal each time and the man took a coal each time the woman took it and
