“There was a family by the name of Leahys, living in Knockanure Church.”
There was a family by the name of Leahys, living in Knockanure Church. His cows and horses were dying, he was broken down to one cow, and one horse. He did not know what to do, and one day a strange man came in to him when he was eating his dinner. Mr. Leahy gave him a spoon and a sauce pan of milk and told him to help him to eat the pot of gruel. The man ate his dinner and he thanked him. Then he said "I suppose you are very well off, you have a fine house and a fine farm".(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
