The fight now ceased and the three had a talk among themselves which solved the whole matter. They summoned the farmer and the poor fellow, being terribal frightened, sought Daniel 'O Connell and put the case before him. O Connoll advised him to bring a tin of biscuits to the court and whenever the Judge asked him a question to put a biscuit in his mouth and say "Thats enough about it".
