The graveyard in the district is Kilcroan. There was a chapel in this ground, part of which is to be still seen. It is in the townland of Ballyglass. It is still in use. It has been enlarged this year. The new part is not consecrated. The graveyard is triangular in shape. It slopes towards the South. There were trees growing in it, until it was enlarged and then these were cut down. There are some old monuments and flat flags in the graveyard. There is an old flat flag lying within the ruin of the old chapel on which seventeen twentyone (1721 is marked. This is the oldest stone in the graveyard. Bishop Burke is buried within the ruin of the graveyards old chapel. There is a great high monument raised over him. The Bishop lived in the Big House of Turla. He lived after this after this Saint died. Unbaptized children are buried at the butt of the graveyard. Told by Lawrence Ryan
