- In this parish long ago several toys were made by the people to amuse themselves. They made toys out of spools and pointed them and they were able to make them spin. They made toys out of oak and they used to whip them with a string. They had water-guns and they were able to fire water out of them about ten yards. They were able to suck up water and hold it for a day. They were made out of fuarans with cotton and a stick. They had a pop-gun made out of a piece of a rod and it burned in the centre. In it there was a string and it was able to fire a nail or a stone about twenty yards. They were able to fire very correct with them.
