   Travelling folk still call to our house but the same people have not been in the habit of doing so.
   Some are poor and some seem to be fairly well to do.
   These people sell articles such as delph, tweed and utensils made of tin.
   A great many people buy from them. These travelling folk with the exception of the tinkers obtain their supplies from shops, but the tinkers made the utensils which they sell.
   These people are generally welcome.
   The tinkers remain longer than a night in a district, but those selling cloth or delph have cars and go on from place to place.
   These travellers have food with them. The tinkers sleep in vans or tents and in camps encamped on a side road.
   They get food or money from the people of the houses near the camp.
   They do not travel on foot, but
