  1. Long ago there lived a landlord in Cooloo named Mr. Edward Brown. He was a kind landlord and never evicted any tenant. When he died he willed the property to his nephew Mr. Michael O Kelly. Mr. Michael O Kelly became an invalid and his brother Edward who managed for him.
    When Mr. Michael O Kelly died he was buried in the lisheen. The landlord of Cooloo were Catholics. The landlord lived in a beautiful house and the remains of the orchard and the remains of the present day.
    About 160 years ago there lived in Cooloo a very poor man named Eddie Lohan. This man had a small patch of land and when he went working he only got a few pence a day. The landlords at that time were very cruel and there was a society called Rebel Men. It was said
