  1. Long ago treasure was hidden in the ground by rich people.
    Fairies and animals guarded them.
    In Dunmore Castle a pot of gold is supposed to be buried there under a stone. A fairy and a hound are minding it. If you dig in the daytime the dog would bite you. If you dig during the night the fairy would kill you.
