- Once upon a time there lived a man in an old tatched house. One evening as the man was coming home after milking the cows he saw a weasel crossing the road and he killed him with a stone.
In the middle of the night a weasel came and killed him.
One day a man was hunting in Glás na Coigly and one of the dogs ran after a hare and he broke his leg so the man ran home for his gun.
When he came again to the hare under a cliff and fired a shot at him.
At that moment the hare became a witch and the man fell off in a weakness and when he got alright the witch was gone.
I heard this story from my father who lives in Rockfield- Bailitheoir
