  1. My village is Monasterowen so called because St. Owen built a monastery there during the'Golden Age" . Some stones which were believed to have belonged to the monastery were to be seen is a field belonging to my father about forty years ago.
    Our school is called Baile Ruadh or "The Red District" So called because
