  2. There is a holy well in the vecinity of Beaugh, Dunmore, Co. Galway. It is in Nick Walshes field. One day Sarah Hobon was going down the field and she saw the Blessed Virgin. She got a chaple built in it then. No one takes water out of it. The well never dry's. There are no fish to be got in it. The 3 last day's in July it is opened and a lot of people goes to it. It is right to leave something in Honour of the Blessed Virgin.
