Some time after this the voice spoke to her again and told her never to put her ashes out anymore without wetting it. The reason was this. The fairy came to tell her that the dust was flying about and dirtying their silk dresses. She then obeyed the voice.
- In Ireland long ago the people were very superstitious. They used to say that if were going to a fair, and you meet a red-haired woman you would not have any luck on that day. If you would be buying or selling anything.
