- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)man ran up to the hut to see what the hound was doing thre. Out ran an old man bare-footed and bare-headed and the rest to him and an old woman with him.
- There were once two brothers and they were poor. They used to skin cows and then sell the skins. One day as they were going selling the skins they went through a forest. In the forest they saw a small house. They were going to go into the house but one of the brothers looked in through the window and he saw robbers inside counting money. One of the boys pulled back the other and put the cow's skin on him. The boy then went to the window and stuck the horns through the window. The robbers though it was a wild bull and they ran away out of the house leaving the money on the table. The two boys(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
