  1. There are several superstitions about the different days which people work or change their dwelling from one house to another.
Friday is supposed to be a lucky day to begin a work, or to change into a new house, while nobody dreams of beginning a work or changing his dwelling on Saturday, because there is a saying that Saturday has no luck at all. Again the baby that is born on a Saturday is supposed to have to work hard for his living.
The farmer would not dream of cultivating his land on May day, Easter Monday or White Monday.
On May Eve, the farmers butter can be taken by those who use witchcraft.
Tras-scríofa ag duine dár meitheal tras-scríbhneoirí deonacha.
