  2. most of the boarded chairs used in the district thirty years ago were made by Jamesy Glynn, browe St. Gort. These were more or less a fancy type of chair, and were suitable for parlours or kitchen use. These chairs had boarded seats and fancy square backs. Glynn was an expert chair-maker and had all the tools required for that work. He has long since passed away and his trade has died with him.
