Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There was once a young lad named Jack who caught a midge one rough day outside in the garden. He ran in and told his father that he had killed a midge and thinking he was a great man he said he would go off and kill all the giants he would meet.
    He met a man on the road and he asked him where was he going and Jack said that he was going to kill all the giants he would meet. The man said “you’re the man I want because three giants come every night and knock the castle that I am building.” Jack went home with him and the man gave him a great dinner when they arrived. That night Jack filled his pockeds with stones and went up on a tree that was near the castle. Soon he heard the giants coming and when they came near the castle he let down a stone and hit one of the giants on the head. The giant turned back and asked the other giant why did he hit him. Jack let down another stone and hit him again and then the giant struck a lash at the other fellow and killed him. When the third giant saw what he had done he raised his sledge and hit the second giant on the head and killed him. Then the giant brought his two dead brothers home and buried
