This young man went his way and Our Lord put St. Peter after him. The man went into a public house and he was drinking a pint of porter. When St. Peter came out he said to Jesus You only gave a penny to the old man and You gave a half a crown to that young man that went in drinking. Don't mind that said He. They were going until evening and they saw the old man dead at the side of the road. Our Lord told St. Peter to put his hand in
