    If the people were caught in the land of a gentleman they would be brought into the cow stable and tied to a pole and whipped. The landlord would put (their) them out of their houses and knock them down and sometimes burnt them as well. A landlord was fired at by the Fenions when he was coming home from town just as he reached the gate the Fenions were hiding each side of the gate. He was badly wounded and then he died. "Pusin" Blake was his name. He died of lunacy contracted by a blow of a stone from an evicted tenant.
