   1. The sea-gull is a very common bird in this district. It builds it's nest by the sea-shore. It's food consists of all the small flat-fish available.
   The robin is another very common bird. It is said that in this district, when people put crumbs on their window-sills for the birds, the robin is always the first to arrive. It is also noticed that the next day the same bird will come again. If the crumbs are are there he will take most of them for himself, then he will return to his nest and watch for any other birds, that would come for crumbs. If none come he will go to the window and take the remaining crumbs. These he will eat himself, and the others he will give to the younger ones.
