    In by gone years people did not be-lieve in doctors. They had old cures in which they firmly believed.
    The people in the district in which I live have certain believe regarding old cures. One belief is the milk of dandelion rubbed on a wart cures it. Another cure for a wart is a snail rubbed on it and then put on a bush to die. Or another old cure is to count the warts on you hand make a parcle of stones as many stones as you have warts and throw them away.
    A cure for a sting of a nettle was to rub a docken leaf on the affected part. There is also a cure for a festered finger made from a root of a docken. For a sting of a wasp a blue bag rubbed on the sore part was a very good cure.
    For a sore eye there is a certain plant that grows. It is called celandine and if you squeeze the stalk a milky fluid will come out of it. This rubbed on the eye cures it. A cure for a sty on the eye is to pluck
