    When anyone was suffering from a toothache the people used put boiled poppy and clover on it. The herb releived the person of the toothache. Forge water is the water the blacksmith cools the irons in. Another cure for warts is the juice from the dandelion.
    Marsh mallas boiled down is a good cure for sore eyes.
    Wild celery boiled down and strained is a good cure for your blood. People drink the juice for other cures.
    Sea-water is a good cure for sore feet.
    When people got a sting they used get a long broad leaf and rub it on the sting. The people used call this leaf, a butter dab.
