by the Wheirty. It is so called because it has a large bush growing in the middle of it and there is supposed to be a crock of gold under the bush.

I live in the townland of Mooretown. There are many fields that have names on them around that district. There is a path running from Oldtown to the Mooretown which is called Puck's Path. There is a field near Oldtown called The Nettle Hill. It is so called because ther is a hill in it, which is always covered with nettles during the Summer. There is a field in Mooretown called The Furze Field. It is so called because it is covered with furze. Another field in Mooretown is call The Chapel Field. There is no Chapel in it now.
There is a field in Oldtown called the Round Park, the shape of this field is round.
