The people had a hard time in Ireland about 80 years ago. In 1846 the potato blight fell for the first time and destroyed all the potato crops. The next Spring the people got it very hard to get seed to sow. They ate turnips, cabbages, roots and(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
