"FAIRIN" = féirin In this locality it is used in this way - What fairin are you going to bring from the fair - meaning sweets or the like.
EIREOG - meaning a chicken (female)
SMUR - We are going to have a "smur" of rain meaning some light rain. In these parts of Donegal they say smuran fearthainne meaning light rain(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
