    On one occasion this Fr. Porter who is mentioned on foregoing pages in connection with the closing up on a room at Malin Hall was threatened with eviction by these same people who were the local landlords.
    I am not sure whether it was for non-payment of rent or other cause.
    However, on one occasion when in conversation with them he threatened to let their friends loose again if they persisted in carrying out the eviction.
    Needless to say the threatened eviction never came off.
