  1. The birds give us many signs of the weather. Here are a few.
    1) If the wild geese come up on the land it is a sign of rain.
    2) If the wild duck is seen flying towards the sea you may be sure there is wind coming.
    3) When the curlew is seen flying against the waves of the river it is a sure sign of bad weather
    4) When the starlings rest close to the house it is a sign of frost or snow.
    5) When the sea - gulls come up on the land we are going to have very bad weather.
    Sea - gulls, sea gulls stay you on the strand,
    Because there is never good weather while you are on the land.
    6) When the crows turn over their backs it's a sign of wind.
