- Our Landlord was Mr. Harvey.
At one time the Harvey estate was very large. They owned all the district around from Lagg to Balleeghan.
The tenants had to pay their rent to the Landlord. If they did not pay it they were put out of their homes.
A law was passed that every tenant had to give the Landlord a day's work in the spring time and as many as fifty tenants came to help. Now we do not pay our rent to the Landlord but Mr. Harvey is still in residence at Malin Hall.
