- About fifty years ago two men from Ballywilly after returning from morning mass on a Sunday went up to the hill to look at their sheep.
When they were going around Craig Nave they saw a house which they knew was never there before. They stood for a while to decide whether they should go in or not. So at last they decided to go in. On entering the house they saw an old woman sitting at the fire and a young woman putting on the dinner and four children playing about.
The house looked to be an ordinary country house. The young woman talked to them as any person would. After a while says she "the Bocan Mass people" are getting out.
The two men turned to look towards Bocan, and when they turned back the whole thing to their astonishment had vanished and they found themselves standing on the moor.
N.B. There is another version of this story which is that the young woman told them to sit at the fire till her husband came and the old woman [signalled?] for them to go out. They went out
