A Story (ar lean)
“Long ago there lived a man who had three daughters. Two of these girls were very good workers and the other would not work at all or do anything she was told.”
(ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)rose and the man sent the hound after him. He shouted to the hound to come back but he did not. Then he shot him. The girl asked why he done that. He said because he did not obey him. After a while there came a nice bird flying round. He sent the hawk after it. The hawk did not come back when he called it and he shot it. They went on until the horse sank into a muddy dirty place. He told the horse to get out of it. The horse(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
