  1. Cattle take a disease called shooting. They generally take this disease in the summer time. There is one man in our townland who can cure it. He gets a pan and scrapes soot of pots and other things till he scrapes soot of nine articles. Then he puts some water in it. Then he gets three half pennies and puts them into the sooty water.
