  1. The townland I live in is called Whitecastle. It is not a big townland. It is near the sea and we bathe often in the summer time. My father has got a farm.The farms are all very small in this townland. There is a fort in this downland. This downland is running east and west. It is about half a mile round. It is good land near the shore but it is bad land near the hill. We cut our turf near the hill, and cart them home in the summer.
